On 15th of July in 2020, there was an initial press conference for the project “Youth centre Plovdiv- powerful factor for local development”,co-financed by the European Economic Area (EEA) Financial Mechanism 2014-2021. The event was situated in the bio garden of Municipal Enterprise “Youth center Plovdiv”. Representatives from the local government, the National network of youth centers in Bulgaria, partners from the project Foundation “Applied researches and communications” as well as colleagues and friends from the center took part in the press conference. There was a presentation of the main activities and future events which are planned during the period of implementation of the project from the Mayer of Plovdiv- Mr. Zdravko Dimitrov, the Deputy Mayor “Sports and youth activities”- George Tityukov, the Deputy Mayor Iliya Kirchev and the director of the center- Dimitriya Todorova. The funding for the program is intended for four centers in Bulgaria- Plovdiv, Dobrich, Stara Zagora, and Vratsa. The financing for the enlargement of the activities of the Youth center Plovdiv is 2 053 740,60 leva for 36 months.
