Student self-government is a basic form of youth civic participation, which gives young people the opportunity to create, to realize their ideas, to organize events and initiatives, to attract like-minded people.
On November 22, another online meeting of the representatives of the Student Councils was held, in which the organization of the first joint event with the educational team of OP "Youth Center Plovdiv", dedicated to the International Volunteer Day - December 5, was commented in detail. The participants in the meeting chose the theme of the event: "Youth (good) creativity". They identified the main sub-topics to be discussed and identified the target group of "young people" (aged 15-20) to focus on. A Facebook event was created to be disseminated by the councils in the individual schools and to be shared online.
The meetings of the Student Councils are realized as part of the project "Youth Center Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local development, poverty reduction and improved inclusion of vulnerable groups", funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014 - 2021 .
