1 year Economist's club

Happy birthday to the Economist Club!

365 days ago, the participants of the youth initiative Economist's Club met for the first time in the conference hall of the Youth Centre. It all started after the successful completion of three consecutive groups of young people from the Young Economist training program. A few enthusiasts of them created this space to build the financial literacy of the youth and care about achieving "small" and "big" goals.

The club discusses topics from reality with a focus on economy and finance. Together, it reaches solutions to current problems affecting young people as individual consumers and the economy as a whole.

In each meeting, young people present a variety of economic information to each other in an easy, interesting and accessible way by using interactive non-formal educational methods, debates, games, role-playing situations, case studies, film-themed evenings, etc.

And besides, the Club recently has its own website, which the young people developed themselves and where you can read about their upcoming meetings. Here it is: https://rb.gy/dgzgmp

If, reading this, you have an idea for a youth initiative in which you can also involve your peers and do something fun and useful together, then read and apply here

The youth initiative is realized as part of the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups, financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
