The Forum Theater Group at the Municipal Enterprise Youth Centre Plovdiv is gradually getting acquainted with various techniques from the forum, image and improvisational theater in a series of specially designed meetings. The aim is participants to go through a several-month training cycle, after which to create a performance on a socially significant topic to present it to a different audience (peers, teachers, parents). The trainer Genika Baicheva, who has extensive experience in the field of socially engaged theater, works with the group.
The Forum Theater's meetings are part of the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local development, poverty reduction and improved inclusion of vulnerable groups", funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014 - 2021.
