Another series of the training program for Student Councils/Parliaments has ended. The Plovdiv high schools passed through it - National High School of Commerce, Lyuben Karavelov High School and the Humanitarian High School St. Saint Cyril and Methodius.
The main stages in organizing an event with an emphasis on the principles of non-formal education were presented. The role of observing national and international days in the functioning of the Student Council is discussed.
The participants from all three Councils each chose 2 initiatives to implement in the coming months. In groups, they set the goals, the main tasks and roles, the necessary materials and equipment, and the time schedule. In the subsequent meetings of the council, the initiatives will be planned in detail based on what has been prepared so far.
Going through the program, students improved their knowledge and skills in teamwork, creative thinking, volunteering, active participation in school life, and free expression of a civic position.
