Last week we had the pleasure of hosting the delegation of young people who are here as part of a bilateral youth exchange between Bulgaria and South Korea. It was implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Plovdiv, as one of the European cities of sports, was one of the places that the guests visited.
The Plovdiv Youth Center team presented its educational activities and programs, as well as the joint work of the National Network of Youth Centers in Bulgaria. Together with the world and three-time European canoe-kayak champion Staniliya Stamenova, we introduced our guests to the rich sports history of the city and how we have been trying to preserve and preserve it for 9 years. We walked through the Alley of Olympic Glory - the only one of its kind in Bulgaria, which describes the achievements of 46 Olympic medalists in the period 1962-2004. A contested football competition followed, in which the young people were awarded by the Deputy Mayor "Sports, Youth Activities and Social Policy" Georgi Tityukov with medals and the sports cup for the many smiles and sports spirit they shared with our team. They also participated in several informal activities with our youth workers and mediators, and in the afternoon they participated in the youth initiative of our active participants Ivan Ivanov and Dimitar Zhelev "Crypto 101: Training for the Future".
