🎉МЕ "Youth Center Plovdiv" celebrated International Youth Day this Saturday! The event started with a "Living Library", which brought together representatives of business, government and educational institutions in one place. Every young person, part of the event, met with an inspiring person of their choice as an "open book" and asked their questions, experienced the personal stories of professionals in various fields and got informed about the trends and opportunities in them. Our living books were:
📖Anna Savova - "Young Market" manager at DSK Bank;
📖Marta Jambazova - Director of "Human Resources" at TED BED EAD;
📖Veselina Baltova - senior expert "Public relations and social responsibility" at Holding KCM 2000;
📖Nelli Dimova - Head of the "Public Receivables" Department in the "Collection" Directorate at the Territorial Directorate of the National Revenue Agency (NAA);
📖Marin Vuldjev - artist and teacher at SU "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", the city of Plovdiv;
📖Dr. Marin Kanarev - doctor in the medical oncology department at the "Park Hospital" Medical Center, Plovdiv and assistant at the "Anatomy, Histology and Embryology" department of the medical faculty at the Medical University - Plovdiv; 📖Margarita Ruseva - dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv.
🛣️Readers received a rapid boost for their career path and current and future support. The direct connection between young people, on the one hand, and businesses and institutions, on the other hand, is an absolute prerequisite for their personal and professional sprint to success. The first part of the event ended with feedback from the "living books" and their readers and ideas for subsequent similar events and initiatives.
🎭The fascinating and emotional stories related to the manifestation of aggression in schools were spectacularly acted out by students from the "Anna Mai" Vocational High School of Clothing in the second part of the day with the forum theater performance "Kick it out". The audience, made up of children, young people, teachers and parents, actively participated in the discussion on the topic by sharing their opinions, impressions and personal stories. The audience itself took part in solving the presented problem situations, entering the roles of students.
