Conference on Digital and Media Literacy

On September 9 in the educational bio garden  a conference on digital and media literacy was held. During the event the main outcomes from the trainings based on the handbook "Youth (in)action" were discussed. Representatives of the National Network of Youth Centres, the International Youth Centre - Pernik, the Local Development Programme, as well as the project partners- Applied Research and Communications Fund and the Norwegian organization- Norsensus Mediaforum took part in the event. All of them shared their experience on working with the handbook, which includes the development of theoretical and practical modules, as well as their application in various training activities with young people. The participants in the programme “Youth (in)action”, who went through each of the activities included in the handbook, also shared their opinion about their favourite topics, new skills they have acquired, unforgettable moments and experiences. The young people received their internship certificates. The atmosphere was full of smiles, emotions and photos. The educational team of M.E. "Youth Center Plovdiv" continues its work on the programme "Youth (in)action”. Тhe registration of new participants starts in October.

The activity was held as part of the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development." under the programme “Local development, poverty reduction and enhanced inclusion of vulnerable groups” funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
