On August 22nd we held a discussion and a short literary reading focused on addiction, organized in partnership with lis.misfits. We were joined by authors Ninko Kirilov and Kristina Yankulova, who shared their personal stories and some of the struggles they have faced with their own addictions in front of a group of young people. Together with the participants, they discussed important topics such as the different types of addiction and how to fight them.
The discussion also touched on topics such as recognizing an addiction, the challenges faced on the path to recovery, and the ways we can support our loved ones who are struggling with addiction. The young participants had the opportunity to ask their questions, which were explored through the personal perspectives of everyone in the room.
