For several months, the team of ME Youth Centre Plovdiv educatoinal training activities with the children and young people from the city of Perushtitsa.
The participants were informed about the Centre's activities and engaged in familiarization exercises. The handbook on digital media literacy "Youth (re)acting" was also presented - a main focus of the upcoming meetings.
The children and young people learned about the history and origins of the Roma community and came to different conclusions, which are the key to successful teamwork. This was followed by the identification of community problems and the search for their solutions. The participants were extremely active and filled the space with enthusiasm, positive energy and ideas.
The activity is realized as part of the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups, financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
