Welcome to our first meeting in this series, which will be focused on the Amnesty International initiative "Write for Rights".
About 20 years ago, a small group of activists in Poland held a 24-hour letter-writing marathon. In the following years, the idea spread. Today "Write for Rights" is the largest global human rights event.
Every year, Amnesty International’s Write for Rights campaign brings people together from all over the world to fight injustice and support people whose rights are at risk.
 Get involved in this year’s campaign by writing letters and sharing the stories of the six activists who are part of Write for Rights 2024.

This campaign seeks to restore the rights of people whose freedoms are at risk for various reasons. During the event, we will discuss the main goals of the initiative and look at specific cases in which people's rights have been violated, emphasizing the possibility of restoring these rights through active action.
