🔑 This Saturday, for the 10th anniversary time, the Plovdiv Youth Center team gathered in one place teachers, pedagogical advisors, school psychologists, representatives of educational institutions and organizations working with and for young people from the city of Plovdiv and the region. This became a fact during the traditional educational forum "Outside the Form" on the theme "Unlock Knowledge".
📖 The central place was occupied by the presentation of the new educational program "Youth re(act) 2", developed in partnership with colleagues from the National Network of Youth Centers, the "Applied Research and Communications" Foundation and Norsensus Mediaforum.
🔎 Through experience, the participants touched the principles and methods of informal education, distinguished the two worlds of "formal" and "informal", found connecting threads and commented on the relevance and importance of topics for informal educational activities.
🧩 The design thinking method was also presented as a tool for working with vulnerable groups and communities. The teachers stepped into the shoes of various institutions, communities and young people to defend their ideas for organizing educational activities in Roma neighborhoods and schools.
🧭 Our guest speakers from Lidl Bulgaria and the Trust for Social Alternative/Trust for Social Achievement introduced the topic of the role of the teacher in the career guidance process of young people. They shared their perspective and experience and exchanged ideas and opportunities for pupils and students on their career path. Specific tools to help the teacher were also shown.
✨ Once again, the bridge between the formal and the informal was steadily upgraded and proved its importance in the development of young people!
