🎯The final press conference on the project "Youth Center Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" was held today.
👥Training and work in the region, educational and youth forums, international youth exchanges, implementation of digital-media literacy programs and building skills of the new age are part of the activities in which the total number of participants is over 4,900 people from the city of Plovdiv and the region . The data were presented by the director of the Center Dimitria Todorova.
🧩Participated in the event were Nikolay Bukhalov - Deputy Mayor "Sports and Youth Activities", Zhenya Petkova - Deputy Mayor "Finance, Municipal Economy and Social Activities", Vesela Mareva - Director of the Directorate "Youth Policies" and Stanislava Kostova - Chief expert at the "Youth Policies" Directorate of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
🗨️"I am a huge supporter of non-formal education methods and I am very impressed by the activities you are doing here. The new generation needs new forms of communication and teaching. That's why I wish you to continue developing these activities, because that way we will have more and more intelligent and successful children", stated Zhenya Petkova.
🗨️Deputy Mayor for "Sports and Youth Activities" Nikolay Bukhalov just expressed admiration for the team and its initiatives. "Youth center succeeds in creating confidence in young people and teaches them to work in a team. Over the years, the Center has proven that it can create leaders - something that our society is in great need of," emphasized Bukhalov.
🗨️In the framework of the event, the young people shared the activities in which they took part over the years and what they learned from them. Creating new friendships, a chance for creative expression, an opportunity to create your own club, based on personal interests, were among the main impressions that the young people shared from their work at the Center.

It is implemented under the program "Local development, poverty reduction and improved inclusion of vulnerable groups", financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic space 2014 - 2012
