On August 15th, a football tournament was held on the sports fields of "Hristo Botev" Primary School in the village of Popovitsa. The event brought together young people from several small settlements in the Plovdiv Region - Akhmatovo, Bogdanitsa, Bolyartsi, Karadzhovo, and Popovitsa. The sports initiative provided an opportunity for friendly competition, new acquaintances, and lots of excitement on the field.
Alongside the tournament, an informal activity was conducted to explore the needs of the youth in the region. The information gathered will assist the team of the "Plovdiv Youth Center" Municipal Enterprise in planning future initiatives and activities aimed at young people from these communities. Useful information provided by the Regional Health Inspectorate of Plovdiv was also presented, highlighting the benefits of physical activity for adolescents.
At the end of the event, all participants were recognized and awarded with trophies and medals for their participation and sportsmanship.
