On 12.08.2021 M. E. "Youth Center Plovdiv" celebrates the International Youth Day. The beginning of the program was given by the gentle violin performance of Adelina Sivkova.
We continued with the performance of the Forum Theater group, led by Genika Baicheva, where the participants had the opportunity to change the course of action, trying to solve a contemporary social problem. The young people from the audience took on the roles of the actors and presented their understanding of how to resolve the situation. We have witnessed extremely interesting and original proposals.
In the second part, the emphasis was placed on fire, which is associated with the rebellious spirit of the young person. It is the living element that purifies, transforms and empowers. Everyone was captivated by the magic of the fire-theater show "Samodiva", which is a youth initiative of the “Firestep” formation.
The activity was held as part of the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development." under the programme “Local development, poverty reduction and enhanced inclusion of vulnerable groups” funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
