Municipal Enterprise "Youth Center Plovdiv" has started recruiting participants for youth exchange in Braga, Portugal, which will take place in the period 18-22 April. The main goal of the international exchange is to strengthen the established partnership between M.E. "Youth Center Plovdiv" and Youth Center "Invest Braga" and share experience at the level of management, training programs and projects between the two institutions. Participation in the exchange will increase young people's knowledge of non-formal education as an approach to youth activities at the international level, will develop basic competencies for individual development and implementation of training sessions, will increase youth initiative and develop plans for future joint projects.

Profile of the participants:

• young people aged 18-29;
• level of English language - B1 according to the European Language Framework;
• knowledge of the meaning and role of youth work and how it is implemented in the local and national context; • motivated and ready to be involved in all stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation of the exchange;
• Young people who have participated in the activities and programs implemented by the team of M.E. "Youth Center Plovdiv" have an advantage.

To become part of the exchange you need to:

• join the preliminary prepartion, which the team of M.E. "Youth Center Plovdiv" has provided in the form of organizational meetings, discussions and preparation of materials;
• participate in the entire duration of the exchange and in all sessions of the program;
• engage in the implementation of follow - up plans and projects after the exchange;

After reviewing the applications, we will contact the candidates for a meeting. The costs for accommodation, meals, plane tickets and transfers will be borne by the Municipal Enterprise "Youth Center Plovdiv". In connection with the measures taken to limit the spread of COVID-19 at present, a negative result of an RT-PCR test performed up to 72 hours before departure or a certificate of completed vaccination course, up to 9 months, is required for entry into Portugal. before the visit. The costs of tests need to be covered by the participants.

The exchange is implemented as part of the project "Youth Center Plovdiv - a powerful factor for Local Development" under the program "Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Improved Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups", funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
