Municipal enterprise Youth Center Plovdiv has started recruiting participants for a youth exchange in Brežice, Slovenia, which will take place in the period October 17-21, 2022. The main goal of the international exchange is to strengthen the established partnership between МЕ Youth Center Plovdiv and Youth Center Brežice, Slovenia.

Participation in the exchange will increase young people's knowledge of nonformal education as an approach to implementing youth activities at the international level, the topic of volunteering and its benefits for personal development will be discussed, and plans for future joint projects will be developed.

Participants profile:

• young people aged 18-29;
• English language proficiency level – B1 according to the European Language Framework;
• with knowledge about the meaning and role of youth work and how it is realized in the local and national context;
• motivated and ready to get involved in all stages of preparation, realization and evaluation of the exchange;
• Young people who have been involved in the activities and programs implemented by the ME Youth Center Plovdiv team are given priority

To become part of the exchange you need to:

• get involved in the preliminary preparation that the team of ME Youth Center Plovdiv has foreseen in the form of organizational meetings, discussions and preparation of materials;
• participate for the entire duration of the exchange and in all sessions provided for in the program;
• engage in the implementation of subsequent plans and projects arising as a result of the exchange.

The organization of the international exchange will be in accordance with the current anti-epidemic measures.

Accommodation, meals, air tickets and transfers will be covered by project "Youth Center Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups, financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
