Municipal enterprise Youth Centre Plovdiv has started recruiting participants for a working visit to exchange experience in Luxembourg, which will take place in the period 24-28 April 2023.

The main goal of the international exchange is to strengthen the established partnership between ME Youth Centre Plovdiv and Youth Centre Marienthal Luxembourg.

The visit is aimed at increasing the knowledge of young people about non-formal education as an approach to implementing youth activities at the international level. The group of 10 participants together with part of the Youth Centre Plovdiv team will get to know the main programs and initiatives of the host center and will be involved in planning future joint projects.

Participants profile:

• young people aged 18-29;
• English language proficiency level – B2 according to the European Language Framework;
• with knowledge about the meaning and role of youth work and how it is realized in the local and national context;
• motivated and ready to get involved in all stages of preparation, realization and evaluation of the exchange;
• Young people who have been involved in the activities and programs implemented by the ME Youth Center Plovdiv team are given priority

To become part of the exchange you need to:

• get involved in the preliminary preparation that the team of ME Youth Centre Plovdiv has foreseen in the form of organizational meetings, discussions and preparation of materials;
• participate for the entire duration of the exchange and in all sessions provided for in the program;
• engage in the implementation of subsequent plans and projects arising as a result of the exchange.

After reviewing the submitted applications, applicants will be contacted for an interview.

Accommodation, meals, air tickets and transfers will be covered by project "Youth Center Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups, financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
