Municipal enterprise Youth Centre Plovdiv has started recruiting participants for a youth exchange in Palermo, Italy, which will take place in the period 04-08.09.2023.

The main goal of the international exchange is to strengthen the established partnership relations between ME Youth Centre Plovdiv and HRYO in Palermo.

Participation in the exchange will increase young people's knowledge of non-formal education as an approach to implementing youth activities at the international level, the topic of human rights education and its benefits for personal development will be discussed, and plans for future joint projects will be developed.

Participants profile:

• young people aged 18-29;
• English language proficiency level – B1 according to the European Language Framework;
• with knowledge about the meaning and role of youth work and how it is realized in the local and national context;
• motivated and ready to get involved in all stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation of the exchange;
• young people who have been involved in the activities and programs implemented by the ME Youth Centre Plovdiv team are given priority.

To become part of the exchange you need to:

• get involved in the preliminary preparation that the team of ME Youth Centre Plovdiv has foreseen in the form of organizational meetings, discussions and preparation of materials;
• you participate for the entire duration of the exchange and in all sessions provided for in the program;
• engage in the implementation of subsequent plans and projects arising as a result of the exchange.

After reviewing the submitted applications, applicants will be contacted for an interview.

The organization of the international exchange will be in accordance with the current anti-epidemic measures.

The costs of accommodation, meals, air tickets and transfers will be covered by the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups, financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
