On January 18th, the Kaliopa Literary Club held its first meeting of the new year with an inspiring event dedicated to the work 
“The Peach Thief” by Emiliyan Stanev. The participants immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the book, exploring the author’s biography, the plot of the work, and key themes related to moral dilemmas, choices, and complex human relationships.
One of the main activities included group work, where participants defended the viewpoints of two of the main characters – Elisaveta and the Colonel. The discussion was lively and encouraged a deeper understanding of the characters’ motives, values, and actions, contributing to a more profound comprehension of the work. 
The meeting concluded with deep reflections on the messages of the book and how they resonate in the modern world. The Kaliopa Literary Club eagerly awaits all literature lovers at the upcoming meetings!
