On 08.02, the youth from the Literary Club "Calliope" dedicated their meeting to one of the most provocative classics of the 20th century - "Lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov. The book caused a variety of reactions and became the basis for a deep and frank conversation.
At the beginning, the participants learned more about the author through an interactive image with emojis, behind each of which was hidden a curious fact about his life and work. Thus, the youth got to know the context in which the novel was created.
The discussion continued with the psychological and social dimensions of the book and the topics that it unlocks in modern society were examined. The meeting ended with a conversation about future ideas and directions for the development of the literary club and the event that they are taking part in - Fantasy Week
