On May 25, at the next meeting of the Youth Literary Club “Calliope”, we reviewed the romance novel “Cruel Love” by Colleen Hoover.
During the meeting, the participants immersed themselves in the emotional world of the characters, examining themes such as love, pain, loss and emotional closure. The book provoked different interpretations and personal reflections on the complexity of human relationships.
The conversation went through a discussion of the characters’ internal conflicts, the connection between the past and the present, and how trauma affects our ability to love. The participants participated in interactive activities inspired by the novel, which encouraged sharing and emotional sincerity.
