💡On March 29, young people visited the local Municipal Enterprise "Social Enterprise for People with Disabilities". The event is part of the "Meetings with Business" series. They were welcomed by the director of the enterprise, Mrs. Vanina Kostadinova, and introduced to the topic of social entrepreneurship and the main goals and directions it sets for itself.
🔎The history and development of the three ateliers, in which disadvantaged people in need of support and development, excluded from the labor market, are engaged. The young people visited the glass, ceramic and textile workshops and met the only glass-blowing master in the country - Ivan Stanev. They followed the process of creating individual products (Christmas toys, souvenirs, flags, etc.) and distribution to the end user. The image of the figure of the social entrepreneur and his mission related to public benefit and dedication was built.
👥 Commented on the importance of social enterprises in the city, the region and the country, aimed at including, training and engaging this part of society, unequal to the competitive conditions of the labor market and lifestyle. The role of the youth participating in the meeting was established as an engine of support and cooperation and creation of an increasingly united and inclusive world.
