"Meetings with business" - "Parallel World" association and "Nadezhda" bookstore

The December edition of "Meetings with Business" was a little different and emotional for the students who participated in the visit.
We met the young people with the "Parallel World" parent association and the "Nadezhda" bookstore, which was created at the enterprise. It really brings hope as it functions successfully and all the funds collected are invested in materials with which the young people who work there continuously improve their skills and quality of life. The mission of the parents who have dedicated themselves to the cause is to support and integrate into society persons with intellectual disabilities and opportunities.
The young people got acquainted with the structure of the association, heard the inspiring story of its creation, immersed themselves in the magic of Christmas and the essence of social entrepreneurship. They had the opportunity to meet and talk with other young people who work there, see the premises, the workshop and learn some details about their work and activities.
The activity "Meeting with the business" is implemented under the project "Youth center Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local development, poverty reduction and improved inclusion of vulnerable groups", financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021 .
