On 11 and 12 October the first of the Meetings with Business series was held, in which young people make direct contact with one of the major companies in the Plovdiv and the region. We started with the technological giant Schneider Electric - an innovator in automation processes and generating innovative and efficient solutions for home, industry and life. The visited Smart Factory is the first of its kind built in Southeast Europe.

Two groups of students aged 13-29 were introduced to the company's vision, mission and goals, along with its positioning on the European and global market. The opportunities for internship programs and career development were presented, as well as the ways to apply for job positions not only in Bulgaria, but also abroad. Examples of building a successful career and realization in separate professional areas of the team were given.

The second part of the meetings took place in the demonstration hall of the enterprise, where the participants got acquainted with the stages and principles of creating smart technologies.

This was followed by a tour of the production workshop, where the young people followed the role of individual machines and workers in the entire process, starting the tour from the point of receipt of raw materials and ending with the finished manufactured product.
