"Club ResQ: Mission Food" is an educational project by the Bulgarian Food Bank. Through this initiative, we aim to develop a training model for working with young volunteers aged 16 to 29. Our goal is to foster engagement in the fight against food waste.
The project comprises two implementation stages. The first stage involves a two-day training session on October 23 and 24, 2026, at the Plovdiv Youth Center (18 Yasna Polyana St., at the Rowing Base). The program begins at 12:00 PM on the first day.
The second stage of the project entails a practical task: organizing a local initiative to support disaster response volunteers. This initiative will collect suitable food supplies to meet their needs using food banking methods in the spring of 2027. All planned activities are being carried out in partnership with the Plovdiv Youth Center.
