This year started again with great youth enthusiasm and fresh ideas from the Student Councils in Plovdiv. Their first meeting of the calendar year took place on January 9th. It started with the scheduled monthly speeches of the representatives of 2 of the member high schools in Plovdiv - PGASG "Arch. Kamen Petkov ”and MG“ Acad. Kiril Popov ". Specific problems in the school community were presented, after which general ideas were formed for their overcoming by the other participants. The results of the charity Christmas bazaar held by the Ivan Vazov Elementary School were commented on again and the topic of charity was raised as part of the activities and functions of the Student Council. The main moment was the drawing up of a plan for the organization of an online information meeting with representatives of secondary schools and high schools in the city of Plovdiv, which will be held on January 23. The meeting ended with a proposal for building a structure of the established community and holding elections for chairman, vice-chairmen, secretary and others.
The meetings of the Student Councils are realized as part of the project "Youth Center Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local development, poverty reduction and improved inclusion of vulnerable groups", funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014 - 2021 .
