Nonformal educational activities with young people from the town of Kardzhali 24-26.01.2025

In the period 24-26 January, informal educational activities were held with young people from the city of Kardzhali in the building of the ME “Youth Center Plovdiv” as part of a project by the “Omega” Association - “The Voice of Kardzhali - Youth Ideas for Civic Activity”, part of the National Program for the Implementation of Youth Activities under Art. 10 a of the Gambling Act (2023-2025) to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The training team of the “Garden of Knowledge” Foundation conducted activities in which young people went through a series of activities to get to know and unite the group and identified the main community problems to work on. Then they ventured into the world of Volunteering and Leadership, where they became acquainted with various volunteer actions and initiatives, learned what lies behind a strong leader and how leadership skills can be developed in an informal environment. On the last day of the training, the young people turned their “ideas” into “youth initiatives” and created a plan on how to implement them. We hope that the young people have rediscovered their “superpowers” and will use them very soon to implement successful youth initiatives.
