"Model Republic of Bulgaria" simulation, organized by "Bulgaria of the Young." They participated in the following roles: Zerin Uzun – Minister of Environment and Water, Dimitar Samarov – Minister of Economy and Industry, Alexandra Babaikova – Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Eda Hairula – Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports, Enitsa Shapkarova – Member of Parliament, Monika Zafirova – Member of Parliament, and Kaloyan Goranov – Member of Parliament.

During the three-day simulation, participants gained an in-depth understanding of the functioning of state power and the democratic system in Bulgaria. They stepped into the roles of representatives of the Council of Ministers, the National Assembly, the Presidency, and the Journalistic Community.

They actively took part in drafting and discussing legislative proposals, engaging in debates, making decisions, and defending their policies. The main discussion topics included educational system reforms, economic strategies for sustainable development, environmental policies, and regional development.

Participants had the opportunity to conduct meetings in the Council of Ministers, where they developed key legislative proposals; take part in parliamentary debates, where they defended their proposals, questioned ministers, and worked towards consensus; and participate in press conferences, presenting their policies to journalists.

The simulation clearly demonstrated that governing a country requires well-reasoned decisions, dialogue, and effective policies. This experience allowed young people to step into the roles of future leaders and feel the responsibility that comes with making important governmental decisions.

Congratulations to all participants for their enthusiasm, motivation, and commitment! A big thank you to the organizers for their dedication in making such events a reality!
