Due to the huge interest in the program "Young Trainee 2 - Youth (in) Action" a second parallel group was launched in the summer. The training began with a presentation of the role and activities of М.Е. "Youth Center Plovdiv" by drawing figures and images related to the work and history of the center.
The first topic was related to the identification of community problems. During this, the young people proposed a definition of a community problem, gave several examples, took the role of journalists and news anchors and analyzed the generated problems.
In the second topic, the participants gave freedom to their imagination, investing their creative thinking in analyzing the community problems from the first part. The activity was concluded with feedback. The young people gave their opinion on the questions: "What did they like most about the training?", "What new knowledge they have acquired today?". At the end of the program, the two groups will be united in a practical phase - in M.E. "Youth Center Plovdiv" and in some outreach work.
The activity was held as part of the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development." under the programme “Local development, poverty reduction and enhanced inclusion of vulnerable groups” funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
