We are a democratic society, and at its foundation are the rights and duties of each of us, because they guarantee respect for human dignity and equality. An active civil society is at the center of a well-functioning state, and young people are the core of prosperity, with their extraordinary power to positively change the world.

It is for this reason that in February we are launching the youth initiative "Rights for me, rights for all", which will be realized in the form of an educational campaign. The idea for the initiative came from Victoria Dimitrova, who dreams of a more equal environment.

The educational campaign will consist of several meetings, during each of which different topics related to human rights will be presented - equality, freedom from discrimination, the right to free movement within and outside the country, freedom of opinion and information, right of education are only a part of them.

Participants will also have the opportunity to develop an activity idea for the promotion and knowledge of human rights. In addition to acquiring new knowledge in the subject, participants will develop key competencies such as teamwork, creativity and critical thinking.

The goals of the educational campaign are:

Acquainting young people with human rights as moral principles that guarantee the dignified life of every person;

Promoting tolerance and understanding between people's differences;

Development of critical thinking and civic self-awareness of young people;

Who is the program suitable for?

• For young people aged 15 to 29 who:
• They want to learn what human rights are;
• They are interested in current social topics;
• They want to meet active young people;

The activity is taking place in ME Youth Centre Plovdiv

When?

The educational campaign will consist of 11 sessions. The meetings will be held every other week, with the first meeting on 19 February at 11 a.m.
