The second edition of the training program "Young Trainee" - "Youth (in) Action" started with the awarding of young interns who in the summer of 2020 successfully completed a series of trainings related to youth work, non-formal education, volunteering and others.
After completing the program, they also participated in the preparations of events in the center, as well as in some of the training modules.
This time, the new interns will have the opportunity to work on specific community problems they face in their daily lives, together they will seek solutions, create from their own perspective and this way leaving a long - lasting trace.
During the first meeting, they formed separate groups focused on a different community problem. Young people came to the reason for the problem, studied the consequences of it and suggested a number of possible solutions.
From now on, they will have to develop their proposals in more detail, freeing themselves from stereotypes and prejudices, developing their creative thinking, realizing the influence of emotions ... and more- exactly in a week.
The activity was held as part of the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development." under the programme “Local development, poverty reduction and enhanced inclusion of vulnerable groups” funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
