Second edition of the Edcuational Seminar for organisations working with vulnerable groups

The team of МЕ Youth Centre Plovdiv held the second edition of the Training Seminar for organizations working with vulnerable groups. The main goal of the event was to exchange experience and good practices in the direction of innovation in the implementation of educational and preventive activities. The topics covered were related to inclusion of active and inactive youth and systematic work with them.

In the planning, preparation and holding of the event, the team of ME Youth Centre Plovdiv was joined by Alexandra Raykova - certified trainer at the Council of Europe, specialist in the field.

The seminar is realized within two modules:

On 10 and 11 April specialized training activities aimed at health mediators were held;

On 12 and 13 April the second module started, in which representatives of national organizations and institutions working with vulnerable groups and educational mediators were involved.

During the training seminar, participants from over 25 settlements in the country took part. As a result of the held discussions and sessions, good practices from the experience of the mediators were brought out, as well as some joint activities between the participants were planned.

The seminar is realized as part of the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups, financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
