On 9 February the team of МЕ Youth Centre Plovdiv held the second meeting of the training program for Student Councils in Acad. Blagovest Sendov School.
The topic was aimed at clarifying and tracking the process of organizing an event. The youth constructed the images of the chairman, the student, part of the Council, the student, outside the Council and the pedagogical advisor, following their interests, activities and activities during their free time, tasks and responsibilities.
A key point in the activity was the process of studying the needs and requirements of the students, generating specific forms and tools. The participants also shared their ideas for events and activities that they would like to implement in the coming months. This will be the basis for the final meeting next week.
The program will continue to be implemented in schools both in the region and in Plovdiv. Its main objectives are to clarify the nature and role of student self-government, to support the development and functioning of the Student Council/Parliament in the individual school, to generate ideas for future activities and to share experiences and good practices.
The activity is realized as part of the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups, financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
