Second session of the programme “Young Economist”

On November 7, the young economists started with the topic of "Personal Finance".

Through an interactive game the participants learnt about the basic concepts in economics and finance. They commented on what is "budget", "money", "price", "income". The young economists followed the functioning of the market and the role of the individual economic entities in it. The discussion continued with the question: "What is money to me?" - whether the greatest evil, or the greatest happiness, or just a means to achieve our goals.

The activity was held as part of the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development." under the programme “Local development, poverty reduction and enhanced inclusion of vulnerable groups” funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
