On 19.09, we launched the Training Program "Skills of the New Age" with an opening familiarization meeting in the "Danube" Sports Hall, where ME "Youth Center Plovdiv" has recently joined rooms for conducting trainings and activities.
The meeting was dedicated to self-knowledge and getting to know the other participants, and on this occasion we started with "Human Bingo", in which everyone had the opportunity to learn something interesting about the other and to talk with him.
After that, the participants emphasized their strengths by drawing a picture of themselves, stating their goals, dreams, abilities, and then each was able to write their name in the other's project where they recognize themselves. In this way, the young people were able to bring out many common ideas, views, expectations.
The next activity took the form of an "Auction". Placed in different life situations of a social, educational, institutional nature, the young people "traded" their skills, opportunities and distinctive features that they possess. They used them to argue how they would approach and what they would do with the help of their "skill" in the world of challenges. The "Auction" ended with a discussion about teamwork and the individual distinctive contribution that everyone is capable of making to achieve the common goal.
The feedback was the last point of the program, which gave the youth the freedom to express their impressions, to share about something new they have learned, as well as to give suggestions for our future meetings within the framework of the training program.
