In connection with the International Day of Bulgarian Sports, which we celebrate on 17 May every year, we want to tell you about and immerse you in another youth initiative that was implemented at the Youth Centre Plovdiv.
It was organized by a group of young people from PG Zlatyu Boyadzhiev, city of Brezovo, and went under the title Sport - motivation for success. They participated in an educational activity related to various sports and Bulgarian medalists who participated in some of the biggest sports forums in the world. Then they walked along the Alley of Olympic Glory, which is located at the Rowing Base. There, they got to know more information about the athletes from the Plovdiv Region, who stepped on the ladder of honor at the Olympic Games, as well as about the history of the construction of the alley on the initiative of the ME Youth Centre Plovdiv.
The young people were very impressed and shared that they would definitely remember the medalists, whose successes they got to know that day. When they finished their tour, they also played a few football matches in small holes on the pitches in the Centre with the enviable high scores of 17:18 in favor of team R.Madrid against Boretz. At the end of the event, we ended with a discussion about the emotions and motivations they had accumulated during the entire activity.
