On 4 January we launched the educational program for Student Councils. Its main objectives are to clarify the nature and role of student self-government, to support the development and functioning of the Student Council/Parliament in the individual school, to generate ideas for future activities and to share experiences and good practices.
The student council of Hristo Smirnenski High School in Hisarya was the first to embark on this training. In our first meeting, we conducted activities to get to know the participants and explore the work of their council. In addition, the students presented their expectations for the program and the needs they have.
The young people were provoked to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the Student Council, as well as to think about its challenges and opportunities. And the younger students drew their ideas for their dream Student Council.
