The end of October marked the beginning of the third edition of the training program "Young Trainee 3:Youth (in) Action" and the third group of trainees in M.E. "Youth Center Plovdiv". Over the next three months, they will go through a series of training sessions dedicated to the impact of young people on their surroundings and the search for solutions to various community problems.
The young people gave more than 15 ideas to change their surroundings, which they summarised into four areas. The same are discrimination, violence, environmental pollution and issues in urban environment formed. On the basis of these 4 working groups were created in which the trainees generated what cause the problem, the consequences and possible solutions. They prefomed a SWOT analysis on a specifically selected solution. In addition, they took part in games to get to know each other, which started the process of uniting the group.
The sessions of the programme are implemented under the project "Youth Center Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local development, poverty reduction and improved inclusion of vulnerable groups", funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
