As we have already shared with you, an educational program for Student Councils has been launched in two more schools - P. Kr. Yavorov School - Plovdiv and Ivan Vazov School, Sopot.
Our first meetings with the students were to get to know and explore the work of their council. In addition, they presented their expectations for the program and the needs they have. The young people were provoked to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the Student Council, as well as to think about its challenges and opportunities. And the younger students drew their ideas for their dream Council.
In the following meetings, students constructed the images of the chairman, vice-chairman, pedagogic advisor and class leader by following their interests, activities and activities during their free time, tasks and responsibilities. Specific forms and tools for studying the needs and wants of the students were also presented. Ideas for future activities and events were also shared. This will be the basis for the finals next week.
The educational programme is realized as part of the project "Youth Centre Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups, financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
