Have you ever wondered what youth work and non-formal education is?
Have you ever wanted to step into the shoes of the youth workers and mediators from the educational team of the Youth Center Plovdiv❓
Are you interested in educational and sports activities with young people from the city of Plovdiv and the region, working in the field and organizing events❓
👉 If you find even a small particle of positive answer in these questions, then we invite you to the training for interns and volunteers, which starts on July 9 at 10 a.m. in the Plovdiv Youth Center building.
🤝 Together with the 4 interns who will go through this introductory training for them, every interested person aged 15-29 will have the opportunity to touch:
🗒️ the history, mission, vision and goals of Youth Center Plovdiv;
🧭 its institutional positioning regionally, nationally and internationally;
💡youth work in Bulgaria and Europe;
🎨 informal education as a method;
🎲 organizing events, campaigns and initiatives;
💪 getting to know your strengths and interests, with which to contribute effectively to the work process;
👥teamwork and leadership are the basis of success;
planning,
🔜 the organization and implementation of upcoming activities in the Center.
The training is implemented in the following schedule:
- 9.07 (Tuesday) from 10 a.m. - topic "Youth Center Plovdiv from the inside and outside";
- 11.07 (Thursday) from 10 a.m. - topic "Youth work and non-formal education";
- 16.07 (Tuesday) from 10 a.m. - topic "Skills of the youth worker";
- 18.07 (Thursday) from 10 a.m. - topic "Organization of events and educational activities"';
- 23.07 (Tuesday) from 10 a.m. - topic "My role as an intern and volunteer at the Plovdiv Youth Center".
