💡The training for interns and volunteers of the Municipal Enterprise "Youth Center Plovdiv" has started. The meeting was opened with an introductory activity in which everyone introduced themselves and found points of contact with others and with the Center. As in any activity, so here, the participants had the floor and expressed their expectations and attitudes towards the upcoming training.
👥After that, the young people met with the director of the Center, who told them about the history, mission, vision, goals and everything important for the Municipal Enterprise. A special guest of the training was Stanilia Stamenova - world and European canoe-kayak champion, as well as a representative of the Municipality of Kuklen. She talked about her path in sports and about the partnership between the Center and the Municipality.
🏫 Getting to know the material base of the Center was related to the personal experience of each participant. Each young person chose a part of the base, presented it from their point of view and gave ideas in order to upgrade the practical application of the spaces. Through an art installation created by the participants, the levels of work at the Center, as well as the specific activities in them, were explained and visually shown.
🧩The final point of the first meeting was made with the all-important feedback that described the training day of each of the participants.
🔜The following trainings will take place at the Youth Center of:
- 16.07 from 10:00 a.m. on the topic "Skills of the youth worker and mediator";
- 18.07 from 14:30 on the topic "Organization of events and educational activities"';
- 23.07 from 10:00 a.m. on the topic "My role as an intern and volunteer at the Plovdiv Youth Center".
