"Visiting..." in the town of Hisarya

On January 17, the initiative “We are The Guests…” took place in the town of Hisarya 🏛️
During the activity, the young people who took part became familiar with historical facts and intriguing legends about the town 📜
We visited some of its most significant architectural sites, and through interactive methods the participants learned more about the traditions and customs of the inhabitants of these places from millennia ago to the present day 🗺️ Some of the locations included:
the Northern, Southern, and Eastern fortress walls, the Summer Theater, the Ancient Roman Baths, the Sanctuary of the Nymphs, the Old Barracks, the house of Gen. Todor Markov, and the well-known “Camels.”
Through discussions and sharing, we explored topics related to heritage preservation and learning through experience 🗣️
